Eating is one of the largest attractions in Canterbury. With a wide variety of cultures visiting the city, there is a great deal of variety in the type of food available.

Italian restaurants include Prezzo, Ask, Zizzi's, Little Italy and the Olive Grove, all of which provide great food and service at a reasonable price.

Dinner in CanterburyIndian cuisine in Canterbury thrives with options such as Tamarind Spice and the Ancient Raj offering great quality food. Apeksha, located in the high street, offers more modern variation on the Indian theme and is also well worth trying during your stay.

Chinese restaurants are a little sparse in Canterbury but you're craving good Chinese food you can always try Kudos, which lies behind the Odeon Cinema, just outside the city walls. Super Noodles also offers great value for money and fast service if you have other plans during the evening.

If you fancy something a little different, there are also several Middle Eastern resaturants, including Azouma, which combines an authentic atmosphere with top quality food and caters for large groups as well as normal dining.

And last but not least, there is a huge selection of fast food options, many of which are open until 2 or 3am to cater for the clubbers. With so much choice, it's hard to fit ita all in on just one visit, so you'll just have to come back again! And eat.
